Anyone got a Big Bad Evil Guy they are proud of? This is the current villain in my campaign.

Stromquil Halazar is in a few words is a cowardly, sarcastic, conspiring, evil man who is the Guildmaster of the Gem Merchants in Waterdeep. He is also secretly the guildmaster of the now reforming Shadowthieves guild who is trying to put a foothold back in the City of Splendors.

Stromquil prides himself on being in the know when it comes to just about any and all illicit activities in the city, and through his multiple contacts (he never meets with someone personally unless he absolutely has too) has a hand in everything.

In combat, Stromquil will almost always have his minions do the dirty work for him, generally leaving the room assuming that his minions will get the job done (he doesn't like getting personally involved.) If pressed, he will use his items and spells to distrupt the more powerful members of his opponents as soon as possible, and in the first opportunity, will cast a spell to escape so that he can regroup and send his thugs after his enemies later.
