Galen is from Crusade, yes. Likely the movie will pick up some of the plots Crusade was working in - not the plague, but the shadow tech. If you've read the scripts for the last two epsiodes of Season 1, you'll know what I mean

Crusade had a couple of characters from TOS - Dr. Franklin and Captain Elizabeth Lochley. Unfortunately Richard Biggs passed away in May (http://www.jmsnews.com/msg.aspx?ID=1-17099). This has caused some parts of the movie to be reworked as the part will not be recast.

Jerry Doyle was scripted into one of the first season episodes of Crusade. As was everyone's favourite psicop.

The quality of B5 has gone downhill since Season 4. 5 years ago, I'd've been interested. Now...no.

The problem JMS had was he thought season 4 was going to be the last season, when he planned for a 5 season arc. So he had to try to wrap up the major plot points of the show in 4 seasons, not 5. He changed some things around, thats why season 5 was so weak, IMO.
