Man, the "s" on that font they're using...I can barely see the top of it. What were they thinking? It's not like I can house rule a new "s". This is a really massive issue for me and hundreds of other the people in this thread that agree with me.

Not only is the top of that "s" perfectly visible, it improves my game tremendously. I've never truly enjoyed any edition of D&D before, because of such blatant lines on the "s"s in their books.

And the solution, for weak-eyed people such as you, is simple. Get out a pen and write in new "s"s. It's not that hard.

It's not just that. If you look closely, the 'a', 'c', 'e', 'o', 'g', 'u', and 's' are all scaled just a little larger than the rest of the characters. Is it a coincidence that you can spell "success" using only letters that are larger than average? Of course not!

It's all part of their plan to subliminally influence us.

That must be nice for you people with your fancy pens. I never use anything but the burnt end of a stick to do my writing. Why can't this game be inclusive like Mearls said it was going to be?

It will be! The DMG will come with a free pen set, some paints, an eazel and a scanner so you can replace all the art and lettering you don't like.

I'm really disappointed, though - they don't include any Tipp-Ex/Liquid Paper so you have to provide your own.

If you aren't using pens by now, it's because you have a willful disregard for the best ways to have fun. Hey, I used to use a burnt stick, too. I've got all kinds of burnt stick cred. But I was miserable each and every time I had to pick one of those things up. Splinters? Ugh. It was literally the worst thing I can imagine any human doing ever.

As for inclusive? According to a survey by wesellpens.com, burnt stick use is now only .1% of the market. What does "inclusive" even mean in such a world?

The letter "s" is optional? That's the dumbest thing I ever heard. So having more than one of something in the game is a variant now? It's my favorite letter, this is really disappointing.
