Bad joke done in bad taste from IMDB!

The IMDB annouce or posted a suposed director for the Halo movie in the name of Uwe Boll. As it turned out this was a bad joke, to me done in bad taste, just to see what happens. I for one is think why would this?

The man can't touch a property without turning it to a steaming pile of absolute crap.

For the record, he was responsible for the House of the Dead and Alone in the Dark movies, among others. I can't speak for the first one, but Alone in the Dark was a fantastic, moody, atmospheric, creepy horror game that was turned into an action movie so bad, it makes straight-to-cable Jeff Speakman movies look like the height of cinema.

So why is this IMDB fault, some poster posted the wrong information. IMDB is basically mainted by its members.

It's not IMDBs fault, as you say. The expectation is that who ever did that entry on IMDB will do it again since it got such a huge *over*reaction.

I remember seeing on IMDb's page about "The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess" that 50 Cent is supposed to be the voice of Epona, Link's horse. It's not there anymore, but...

It is truly amazing how movies based on video games can end up lacking serious amounts of quality.
