she got out yesterday evening. 
she's far from 100% but up and around and moving, despite doctors' best wishes, and determined (so far) to go with me to the con. we'll leave around 4 pm tomorrow, god willing. if we make it there, hope to see you all. 
on a side note, our phone was mysteriously disconnected yesterday morning - this is the first opportunity i've had to post since then, and i'm at my parents' house. don't be surprised if i don't make another post before the Con. you'll see us there or you won't.
