Here's a "mixed bag" type of magic weapon I've been meaning to put in a game:
Double-or-Nothing: This weapon always attacks with Disadvantage. If both attack rolls are high enough to hit the target's AC, then you hit them twice with that attack.
If you gain advantage (and cancel out the weapons innate disadvantage) the weapon gains a +2 bonus on attack and damage rolls until advantage is lost.
Great against targets with a low AC, nearly useless against targets with a high AC.
(Originally envisioned as the mallet for the "Ring the Bell" game at a carnival, but it could be any type of weapon.)
