I just purchased the print version of the Banewarrens to fill some extra gaming time.

I would like to include large sections of the descriptive text about Ptolus in a welcoming email to my players.

Is there some kind soul out there with the PDF who can cut-and-paste some text into an email for me and save me the trouble of retyping it?

I'm basically just looking for the SETTING info on the various districts (pages 6-8), the general info on the Church of Lothian (p9), and the info presented in "Returning to the City": Healing, Rest, Equipment, and The Authorities (p13-14).

I hope this request isn't out of line... I'm certainly not trying to pull a fast one here. I'm just really stoked to get started!

i dont have the banewarrens but i imagine if there are sections that are Product Identity what you're talking about would be it. dont know if anyone will help you here, because honestly, all we have is you saying you bought the book.

Yes, yes... Perhaps I don't have the book at all, and was just making up what only appear to be the actual page number references of the material I need, in order to trick someone into sending me a dozen paragraphs of random introductory material.

If I repeat this process enough, though, eventually I will have the whole module for FREE!

EDIT: And just in case it wasn't clear, I'm not looking for a public posting of the material... an email to me would be nice.

I know, I just feel goofy doing that. I feel like a supplicant fan-boy, imposing on his time.

If what I'm reading in the module is correct-- excuse me, if what I am pretending to read in this module that I may or may not actually have purchased is correct-- he should be working on BoEM III AND something really cool called the Book of Inverted Darkness.

I hate to bug him if there's folks out there who have it. If it comes down to it I'd rather spend my own time just typing it out than impose on Monte.

even if you own it, given my assumption that it is product identity (which may be wrong), it is still illegal to have someone e-mail it to you. thats distribution. i know it is a point hardly noone would contend, but i prefer to not do it to others, cause one day i'd like it to be on the other end

have you considered using some of the text from Monte's Ptolus Campaign logs? maybe this would be useful.

I may be a little off base here, but as best I can tell no one here has tried to make you look like an idiot.

All Wulf was pointing out was that he had made very specific notations as to what he needed, not just a "hey will someone send me this whole adventure so I don't have to buy it." For a good and understandable reason.

So just kick back and ignore the thread if his request for help from the community bothers you. If the mods feel its inapropriate they will take care of it.
