Banshee (higher body count than Game of Thrones)

We're now in to Season 3 of the Cinemax series about a thief who spent 15 years in prison and is now impersonating a murdered sheriff in the small town of Banshee, PA where his former girlfriend created a fake identity and is nowmarried to the DA. If you haven't watched it and like gritty pulp, you should check it out. The acting is generally very solid although some of the situations are a bit absurd.

Just don't get too attached to certain characters as knowledge is a dangerous thing, even when it's not what/who they have knowledge about that will get them.

So, is Hood just a thief faking it as a sheriff? And it just hit me that this story could be seen as Robin Hood. :)

Surprised by Siobhan but thought they were going somewhere with Nola Longshadow, (liked Odette Annable from Rush).

High body count and they have yet to bring in the Marines! :)

Yeah, although Hood went Wile E. Coyote with the assault against Chayton. The look on Job's face while he was messing around was priceless.

Siobhan unfortunately wasn't too unexpected. Characters who learn of Hood's past are often not long for the show.

I like that Hood and Proctor are utterly pragmatic, even though Hood hates Proctor. "Are we gonna have a problem?" "Not tonight." It's interesting how the major characters all have three-dimensional personalities. Too often, they become almost charicatures in so many shows.
