Bard Bonus spells...stupid question

The bonus spells a bard receives for hgh Charisma goes....into where exactly? In all this time I still haven't made a 3e bard and the PHB is vague about saying if these bonus spells go into the "Known" category or the "Can Cast" section (the latter being like a sorcerer). I'm leaning toward Can Cast since a bard does not memorize, but wanted some clarification from you fine folk.

It goes into the can cast section, ditto fo Sorcerers.
