Is there any way that you can get a bard to be able to disable traps? A feat or something hidden away? I am making a bard and we do not have a rouge, so I might be forced to be a rouge. Thanks again!

Multiclassing?

As for options for bards, you could try looking at supplements like Complete Arcane or Complete Adventurer. I'm sure there must be some 3rd party supplement that addresses bards (quintessential bard?), but right now I can't recall one.
