That being said: When deciding where to begin a multiclass PC, you can look for game mechanics or look for story. The game mechanic benefits of one class starting over another are usually overblown, and where not, you can talk to the DM and see whether they'll make accomodations to offset a disadvantage created by trying to focus on story over mechanics.
