Bardic Knowledge feat...

I'm currently playing the variant Bard from CBoEM, and am planing to go the way of the Song Mage (same book).

But i wouldn't want my Bardic Knowledge to suffer if i can help it. Anyone know of a feat (or perhaps create one) that will allow these two classes to stack for Bardic Knowledge?

I've run across other feats that allow you to stack two different classes to continue gaining some benefits, and looking at them it seems that a feat that will only stack the above mentioned classes for the Bardic Knowledge is a bit on the weak side.

Recommendations anyone?

It seems like they SHOULD already stack without a feat, but I am guessing you checked that and they don't.

I think a feat that let them stack, and added a +2 bonus to bardic knowledge checks, would be fair.

If the bardic knowledge abilities could or would stack, then it does not need a feat. If they would not, what are you trying to stack?

I'm not very familiar with the Complete Book of Eldritch Might, so...... *shrug*

But there is a feat from Song & Silence (3.0; I don't know if the feat was reprinted in 3.5's Complete Adventurer or something else, but it's possible). The feat is called Obscure Lore, IIRC, and gives you a bonus on Bardic Knowledge skill checks. I think it was a +4 bonus or so. Only selectable once as far as I know, but a +4 bonus is pretty decent.

Yep, it reappeared in Complete adventurer (page 111). Anyone with a Bardic Knowledge or Lore ability can take it. The +4 bonus is an insight bonus.
