Bardic music feat

Is there a feat which allows a multi-class bard to effectively increase his bardic level in regards to bardic music performances to match his hit dice. If not is there some feat with a similar effect to boost the effectiveness of a multi-class bard?

Increasing his bard level for the purposes of bardic music unlocks new bardic music abilities - the equivalent of gaining new levels of spells. That would be a huge advantage, even if it was just some additional effective levels. I don't see any way a feat could allow bardic level = HD.

I think it would be fair to allow a feat to gain one bardic music ability, with a prerequisite of bard level 2 less than required to gain the ability. I don't know if that feat exists (not in Complete Arcane or Complete Adventurer).

I only know of a couple feats like this and all are pretty limited in scope.

Devoted Inquisitor (Complete Adventurer) -- Allows bard and paladin levels to stack for bardic music uses per day.

Song of the White Raven (Tome of Battle) -- Allows crusader or warblade levels to stack with bard levels when determining the bonus from Inspire Courage.

Song of the Heart (Eberron Campaign Setting) -- Improves all bardic music abilities by either improving the granted bonus or increasing the save DC by 1.

Thanks for the timely answers guys. I was in the middle of a session when one of the other players' character leveled. She wanted some help picking a new feat but for the life of me I couldn't recall if I'd ever seen such a feat before or not. Thankfully you answered before the end of the session and I got to show her the Song of the Heart feat that ohGr suggested. She liked it! Go ENworld! Thanks again.

Use a masterwork instrument from the Complete Adventurer, especially the lute.
