Battle Box!

I got my Battle Box on Friday, and used it in a game this afternoon! What a great tool! I didn't have my Chessex battle mat or my dice with me (I had no idea I'd be gaming this weekend). I wasn't running the game, or I'd have used more than just the grid sheet, the pad of quick combat stat paper, and the d20 - but it was such a boon to have around. Thanks Fiery Dragon!

Just bought it and I am impressed. I heard everyone talk about it at Gen Con and never saw it. Largely because I did not know who the manufacturer was. But since last weekend we argued on two seperate occasions about a cone and a sphere I figured I would go ahead and get it. Then I get these cool little stat block cards. Me likey

Oh yeah! We used the little rules sumary cards, too. The concealment one didn't say anyhting about attacks of opportunity, though. I still need to look that up. We decided that it must be cover that prevented AoO, and we went on playing. The Battle Box saved us time flipping through the combat chapter, though.

This is a great product. I heard about this just after GenCon and had been kicking myself for never having even stopped at the Fiery Dragon booth. I finally found it locally this past weekend. I already had a few spell templates, but I like seeing the spell effect on them, plus the rules summary cards are almost worth the price by themselves. This, plus CC: Gold are going to get a lot of use in my upcoming WLD campaign.

BattleBox is a great product, and one that has seen use at our gaming tables (would see even more if I got to play more often!) It's the kind of thing that I find really useful, since I'm by no means a rules maven (it's great gaming with the FDP guys, 'cause we usually have Scott and Mike who are rules experts there).

Big props to Scott Holden-Jones and extra big props to Claudio Pozas for creating this amazing accessory. I hope it has long life and sees lots of use at gaming tables everywhere.

Woo Hoo! I finally got mine, my FLGS special ordered me one. Fun Asylum only carries WotC d20 products because he knows those sells but will special order anything for you so it works out. The combat cards worked great, especially trip rules because I have a whip loving fighter type. Thanks a whole lot all of you FDP guys, you totally rock for making the best d20 accessory ever!

Absolutely. There will be an "Alternate" Battlebox coming out in February that'll tie into a release from another company, and we're also working on a follow-up Fantasy BattleBox -- I've got some designs and ideas, but making them practical may be expensive! We'll keep you posted.
