Battle/City/Dungeon Maps?

Is there a separate site to get maps for the adventures from the D&D Expeditions? I can't find maps for these anywhere. Am I supposed to make them up myself?

If you are looking for maps of the various Moonsea Cities, there are no official maps at this time (although there are several people who have taken upon themselves, unfortunately - I don't have links to their maps at this moment).

The Expeditions themselves however, contain maps of the various dungeons, buildings, and other encounters that take place within that particular Expedition.

The maps in the Expeditions aren't the best for reproduction. As the guy who makes most of them, I can tell you that using Microsoft Paint has a negative impact on the images's quality. We're working on some other options to try and get maps with a bit better resolution out there so they can be printed out or used in the online play system.

If you have access to them and there is no map for the encounter I find these :

very appropriate for some encounters. There is a very good selection of lightly forested areas, hilly regions, heavily forested areas, roads and buildings. (Some are now out of print: all however are double sided so you get more bang for your buck) and fairly easy to erase. Ive used the basic one for most of my expeditions tables and encounters tables (Im a mini /visual person). The ones out of print can still be bought in a pdf version to be printed out if that is what you want , but honestly the basic one is a great resource which clearly dileneates the 5ft square.

(There are also a lot of other companies doing these grid style maps, but I generally find they only produce a rather thin glossy paper style.. which does NOT transport well or fold up well) whereas the Laminated Flipmats do. THey can take a beating.
