Just one more thought - I'm still wary of giving 0% spell failure chance straight away. However, if you did a gradual progression, you could alleviate the arcane failure problem by using your spell focus ability to cast Still Spell versions of spells at the normal spell level.
You might want to give (1+Int bonus) focus points at 1st level of Battle Mage, so that you get to do this to more than one spell. I would also be inclined to say that to qualify for the PrC, you would need Still Spell plus one other metamagic feat.
