Battle Pyres

Well,
I can't imagine the intent was that you get that secondary attack once for every hit. It's a good power without something that crazy good. abyssaldeath's reading of the power is the only way I can find to bring the power into line with what I think it should be. Does that reading have any implication for any other power? If that was the author's intent, wouldn't making it an effect be a better way to have written it?

As a DM I'd probably allow a single secondary attack if you got at least one hit. I have to imagine that was the intent. Still pretty darn good...

That's what I'd do, too. If the secondary attack was supposed to be applied to every target hit by the primary, I'd have the Target say, "Each enemy hit by the Primary attack", and make the Secondary an Effect.

I'd rule that the Secondary can be used against one target every turn, including the first turn BP is used. 5d10 is hardly a bad deal for a Standard action, anyway.

That's the way I read the intent too - you set a load of people on fire then once per round you can make one of those fires flare up.
