Heh... ok, it works. The question is, is it worth the trouble.

Here's how it works:

1. Create a battleframe. Some of you might still have them lying around, others might not. For those that don't, here's the code:

<center><table bgcolor=550000 border=5 width=75% cellspacing=0 cellpadding=0><tr><td><center><table bgcolor=#550000 border=2 cellspacing=0 cellpadding=0 width=100%><tr><td colspan=2><center><font color=#FFCC00 size=4 face="verdana">Sabaron </font></center></td></tr><tr><td valign=top><font color=#FFCC00 face="verdana" size="2">

***Flavor Text***

</font></td><td valign=top width=150><img src="http://freddenis.free.fr/commun/images/escaf/esca10.jpg" align="bottom" height=150><center><font color=#FFCC00 size=2 face="Courier new">

***Flag Text***

</font></center></td></tr></table><tr><td align=center valign=top colspan=8 bgcolor=#992222><font color=#FFCC00 size=4 face="verdana">
***Move Text***
</font></center></td></tr></td></tr></table></center>

Things in bold are those that you need to change to customize your frame. Those in italics are placeholders.

Copy this to Notepad and save it as frame.htm.

2. Open frame.htm and hit the "Print Screen" button on your keyboard. (Don't forget to change the colors and pictures the first time around.

3. Open Paint (or other graphics editing program) and paste your screen capture. Trim all background junk and save in .jpg format.

4. Post your frame as an attachment.

Each time you want to post a new move, you'll have to open frame.htm and change the source code to alter the move, flavor text and flag text. Then repeat steps 2-4.

Heh. Not anywhere near worth the trouble, IMO. And having multiple pictures in a thread would be a real strain for us poor souls who are still on dialup :(. Battleframes are only worth doing if they can be done using normal HTML... and even then I'm wondering whether its really a good idea. They really just take up space when all you need is one line of text.

For me, that's a bit too much trouble. I'll wait and see if they actually get HTML coding turned back on first. It's nice, but not essential to the game as we've proven over the last several months.

Hey, now that's a good idea!

...but still not worth the effort for me, plus it would make a thread very big very quickly.

Also there's the problem of attachments taking up space on the webserver, and I think morrus would get annoyed after a lil while :).
