Battlestar Galactica {Spoiler Talk} 18.03.05

Richard Hatch was great. I would never have suspected him to be able to pull off this role. He was diplomatic and threatening at the same time. The polar opposite of Commander Adama. Hatch's character is in total command of his emotions, Olmos's Adama is highly emotional but doesn't know how to deal with it so he shuts everything off.

Mrs. Tigh caught me completely off guard. Great character. And add me to the list of people who thinks she whacked Mr. Grey.

I certainly agree it looks like Mrs Tigh either killed or had killed the prisoner - but this means she's something much mroe than she appears.

For reference's sake - we know there are 12 models of Cylons. How many have we identified?

Standard Robot Cylon
Boomer Cylon
#6 Cylon
Kevin Spacey lookalike Cylon
Spaced Cylon
Fighter Ship Cylon? Is this a seperate model?

There are lots of potential Cylon models yet to be revealed.

Yowzzzaa!

Hmmmm... now who is one heart beat away from the presidents seat? If only you knew Madame President. If only you knew.

When she went into the head to make the deal with him, for a second I was almost convinced she was going to ask him to test Apollo...err Zarek...with the Cylon detector...complete with musing that if he were a Cylon how it would solve their problems...

ms Tigh is lot like a few officers wives I met in the military just over blown due having be in the series. I like the actress hate the character.

I assumed that she meant "12 human models". That leaves many more potential cylon types.

That was the producers' intent, I don't like the character either.;)

I'm betting she's the one that killed what's his name.

I really liked this episode. Much more than just boring politics. Really, though, they can't be out fighting over and over again...not enough Vipers for that :p

And Helo is getting very interesting. I'm surprised he didn't shoot 'his' Boomer.

Boomer #1 *planetside* is in a freefall of her own. Helo plainly spoke his great dislike for all Cylons, human-looking, or machine. That they have to be put down.

B#1 had a look of, 'No!!! Don't say that please, I *might* have turned traitor against my own kind'.
'They don't know that I am capable of getting pregant, even though I was surprised myself'
'I am more human than machine'
'I don't want to be like the Cylons, I want just to be me *self awareness dawns*'

Man...this is true grit, at its best:D

For the shooting part...well, ya know..there are strong feelings involved, before seeing another Boomer #?...it is kinda hard to flip like that. There is a history *as false as it seems* there is shared history. Now, between now and next season, will Helo overcome his bias for the whole situaton?
