I was set to sort of poo-poo the show. The characterizations at first seemed cliche. However, I really like what I have seen so far. And the way the boxed sets come out, you get episode to episode flow with no interruptions! It is brillant. There are no credits from show to show, so you really get a great feeling of one story line running through the series. The captain is really great. He is so low key that he is immediately believeable. Some of the characters are a little one dimensional, but I forgive it. The President is also very good.

So far I give the series a strong A-. I hope it continues...
