So, we know that each of these deities are going to get the Theros treatment: rules for benefits for following them, that sort of thing. I'm excited to find out how they figure ways to make it work for each god!

Asmodeus being one of them provides a neat way for a PC to be a devil worshipper, if that's your sort of thing. (I mean, other than as a Fiend Warlock).

Curious to see the piety rules for Beshaba and Loviatar, among others!

I also found Beshaba's holy symbol art on D&D Beyond's Marketplace page for the books! Looks neat!

Might be slightly less involved, page-count eise, than the Theros treatments...Theros gave 15 deities 3 pages each, I doubt we will see 123 pages of piety content here

I think that would be much more of an issue then Greek or Egyptian Gods, although those are Gods are worshipped still today, but the Pagan community really doesn't make a big deal about it, but some times the Hindu community does get upset at particular depiction, but never D&D.

Those religions went extinct.

Revivals essentially invented their own dogma. They cant really say kicking Ra's ass in D&D is unacceptable as you can claim that's the best way to honor Ra these days. Its not like they can really contradict you.

They can't claim cultural appropriation either as they essentially did exactly that.
