"Behind the Spells" print compilation

The only reason I haven't bought them individually is because I am waiting for the compilation. And I'dd a pre-order of a hardcover if/when one comes.

Also, Trap the Soul would be a classic...

I would likely pick up this series if compiled.

And in case you missed the press release...

After a year of work, Bret Boyd's Behind the Spells has reached the end of the line. With 36 releases in the series, Behind the Spells has expanded the abilities of spellcasters and given DMs and players new tools to throw at the opposition.

In celebration of the series' conclusion, with the release of Dispel Magic, every single Behind the Spells PDF is on sale for $0.50 off between now and November 24th.

The conclusion isn't the end, though! Bret is hard at work on the Behind the Spells collection and, once completed, we've got an offer for long-time fans of the series.

Anyone that has purchased 20 or more releases in the series, when the collection is released, will be offered:

  • An opportunity to buy the -- illustrated -- collection PDF for only $5.00;
  • The chance to buy the hardcover collection at cost.

The PDF collection, and a softcover print collection, will also be made available to those that do not qualify for the above offers.

Thank you to everyone that supported the series. We couldn't have done it without your help!

Any update on the compilation's ETA?

I'm working on it now. My plan is to go through each issue and make sure any oddities that came up in reviews are fixed and that everything reads OK. As I go, I'm adding new material that jumps out at me that I hadn't thought of before as well as listing the original release date of the issue and little behind the scenes tidbits. One week, maybe two, before I'll hand the completed book in to Phil.

Dang Phil -- that was the fasted thread reply in the business. :) I only had like 10 seconds to realize my brain fart. I was typing my thread edit and you were replying at the same time.

Timing. The Phil1000 is now operating at maximum efficiency. :)
