Best 5 books for True20?

Hiya!

Blood Throne and it's first supplement, The Blighted Bestiary, are both available in Print at RPGobjects and Lulu.com:

Interface Zero will be going to print and PDF immediately when it gets released, but it's still in layout/art production.

I anticipate having that ready in the next couple of weeks.

Thanks so much for your interest! I'm sure you'll be able to find some great crunch to mine for your own campaign, though I think Blood Throne is a great, gritty setting. (I'm biased though. I'm the creator, and I wrote roughly 80% of the book *smile*).

Some people have drawn comparisons to Midnight. Others have mentioned that the first supplement (Blight Elves: Architects of despair) is thematically reminiscent of the Sabbat in OWOD. The Blight Elves are probably the most wicked creatures I've ever seen concocted for a gaming supplement.

They make Drow look like fluffy, hooka-smoking hippies at a Grateful Dead concert.

Ok, I think I've finalized the list of what we want:

True20 Adventure Roleplaying, Revised
True20 Bestiary
Adepts Handbook
Worlds of Adventure (this is where Blood Throne is found, correct?)
Blood Throne - Survivors Guide

Dumb ass question, but is BT- Survivors Guide available at Amazon (a lot cheaper to ship to Sweden when buying via Amazon)?

Unfortunately not yet.

Strange you asked though. I was planning on getting it up for sale on Amazon next week, after I put a bunch of projects to be..

*sigh*

I need another 12 hours a day.

True20 Adventure Roleplaying - Revised edition. Two great books in one package.
Blood and Fists True20 is the book for hand to hand combat. It has a wealth of mechanics, concepts, descriptions and advice that are perfect for any character or campaign that emphasizes marital arts (especially the weaponless kind).
I can't comment on a lot of the more recent products, as support for True20 has increased while my personal time and resources available for it have decreased. My loss. :(

Good luck and I hope some of this was helpful.

Is Blood and Fists useful for non modern Fantasy Campaigns??
I also highly recommend the Blight Elves sourcebook, really nasty twisted elves! Great villians. Mind you they are not for the squemish!

If you are going to do fantasy, check out the True20 Freeport Companion. It sort of the stealth fantasy sourcebook for True20. It's light on setting material (because that's in the Pirate's Guide to Freeport) and full of handy material for fantasy True20 games.

Also if your doing fantasy and your group has some diehard 3.x folks, the Fantasy Paths supplement shows how to take alot of classic 3.x classes and how to work them up in True20. It helped me get a much better handle on how to work up character ideas with True20.

I'm primarily picking up Blood Throne not for its fantasy part, but as inspiration for one of our campaign settings (which involves an ALIEN invasion a la Dark Skies into what was a fantasy world). However, the praise it has gotten, both here and in other places is what finally convinced me. I hope to be able to run it too one day and when we get there, I will get the Blight Elves book.

BTW, the Blood Throne Survivors Guide is going up at Amazon in a few weeks? We can wait if that is all there is to it, since shipping here is a couple of weeks we're accustomed to not getting our stuff immediately.

Someone mentioned "Fantasy Paths" - what exactly does that help me with?

I was hoping to get it up in a few weeks, though I just looked at the requirements for the book files, and it'll require significant changes to the existing document, which will take much longer to ensure it is done right.

You're probably better off buying from RPGobjects or Lulu.
