Shadowdancer

First Post
With the year at the halfway point, here's the best of what I've seen so far.

1. Crash
2. Cinderella Man
3. Batman Begins
4. Sin City
5. The Upside of Anger
6. Millions
7. Oldboy
8. Layer Cake
9. Mysterious Skin
10. Gunner Palace

Honorable mention: Off the Map, Palindromes, Mr. and Mrs. Smith, Kingdom of Heaven, War of the Worlds

In no particular order:

Batman Begins (Year One was better, but thats just being picky.)
Cindrella Man (I didn't think Ron Howard could do it but he did pretty well.)
Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants (Why did I like this flick? Am I macho enough to admit?)
Upside of Anger (Costner was better than I thought he would be.)
Kung Fu Hustle (Stephen Chow is my hero, right under Sammo Hung.)
Howl's Moving Castle (Ghibli does it again.)

There still seem to be a few decent flicks around the corner too, but for movies 2005 is looking a bit lackluster.

What I remember seeing fairly recently, and in order of preference.

Revenge of the Sith
Batman Begins
Kingdome of God
War of the Worlds
Sahara
The Longest Yard
Fever Pitch

In order:

Batman Begins: 9
Kingdom of Heaven: 9
Sin City: 8.5
Palindromes: 8.5
Kung Fu Hustle: 8
War of the Worlds: 7
Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith: 7 (with reservations)

SW Episode III is te only movie I can remember seeing this year, but there has to be another. Pregnant wife, then new baby equals, staying at home.
