Sacrosanct

Legend
Melisandre from GoT?

She's on that poll

Xena is a bard? You got to be kidding me.

Edit I do not know any of the others, I watch so little TV. Seems I cannot cast my vote here.

What is the black cauldron? it sounds interesting.

Xena isn't a bard. Gabrielle from the show Xena is.

1985 Disney animation based on books by Lloyd Alexander.

I'm told the books are better than the film, and I can easily believe that.

The show is cute, and it obviously made for younger kids, but the books are much better. Highly praised, and well before their time (written in the 60s IIRC, and the toughest, smartest protagonist is the girl Eilonwy, not the boy Taran.

The books are lovely, lovely reads. Fflewddur Fflam, for example, goes from a milquetoast old man to a boisterous younger fellow.

Yet I still have a soft spot for the movie. I think there's a lot to recommend it. If nothing else, it was one of the early efforts of Tim Burton, back when he was working as an animator for Disney.
