Best Spells 0th-9th level

Alright. Why is it that everyone overlooks Dimension Door as one of the best spells out there?

Not only can it get you in or out of trouble, but it requires only a verbal component. (Grappling the wizard won't keep him from being able to cast this!)

First, I know this thread was started in reference to a wizard but, KDL, how can you not list Divine Power - the spell that is the heart of the "clerics are better fighters than fighters" discussion - as the best 4th level cleric spell?

Now, for some of my opinions:

0th - Prestidigitation - it just so many cool things! Are you dirty? Cast prestidigitation. Need to light a torch? Cast prestidigitation.

1st - Endure Elements - this puppy lasts 24 hours. Very useful for a sorcerer who has slots left over at the end of a day (particularly high level slots that can be combined with Extend Spell). Running around with 5 resistance to every element is nice
( I would say magic missile but don't you just know that everyone has shield up or a brooch of shielding?)

2nd - eh. lots of so-so choices. To me, Knock is the one "must have". There are seldom any other good options when you meet an Arcane Locked door. Most every other 2nd level spell has good substitutes.

3rd - I think Greater Magic Weapon outshines Haste. Haste is nice for blowing through your spells but GMW can get through DR and I think serves fighters better in the long run.

Divine Power... I don't know. Maybe becuase it, like many 4th level Clerical spells, seems "uninteresting" to me. Inflict/Cure seems more in keeping with the feel of D&D Clerics (although Priests in D&D are already hellishly martial in nature).

It was just my thoughts on them... that was all.
