Love this thread.

I don't really care for the Peter Jackson movie aesthetic, which post-movie kind of took over everything. Same as others love all the classic MERP art.

Though I do love this art for the German collection published back in like the 70s or 80s. Gives real hospital waiting room mosaic vibes from a 70s Soviet hospital to me, idk.

found it. There is so much going on in this painting. I love it. I wish I could find a higher res version so you can see all the details.

My dad's old copies he read it to us from when I was little were the Ballantine paperback editions with these Remington covers.

I think I still have all three, though they're beat to hell and when I go back and re-read I normally read my 1982 Houghton Mifflin book club hardcovers.
