So Darrin, what's the difference between the Campaign Setting and the Gazeteer from earlier this year (besides page count)? Is it worth the money or are you getting the same material twice?

Keep in mind that I just got the Gazetteer myself about a week ago, and I bought it for my players, so I haven't read through it.

The basic descriptions of places and things haven't changed, but there's a lot more detail added into the campaign setting. Each nation takes up 2 to 4 pages each. There's a detailed description of how the various races fit into the setting, and there is also 20 pages dedicated to the various ethnicities, which is also greatly expanded beyond what was in the Gazetteer. So basically what you're getting is the same thing, only much more detailed and developed.
