I may occassionally be slow, but I ain't a-goin' nowheres.

Meh. I'm job-hunting and my son is teething. So, I had an important phone interview this morning that I've been obsessing about and nobody in my house has gotten much sleep in the past few days. Good times!

Given the current chaos of the situation aboard ship, it seems likely that it may take some time before anyone gets around to posting for a pilot. I'm thinking it might help to tie Melara in more quickly if she had a background connection to someone aboard. Not Kai or Win, unfortunately, because she's already seen them close up. But any of the others are fair game.

I'm up for it! It'd have to be someone she didn't know was on board this particular ship, a'course, until she hears or sees 'em...but that's quite possible since she's been keeping her head down for a while.

It looks like there is some network wonkiness that has taken doghead (and some others) out of commission for the time being: http://www.enworld.org/showthread.php?t=172873

I'll ghost Helsinki as necessary, but I expect she'll be taking something less of a leading role for the moment.
