So, the digital early release is today. Anyone got it? Whatcha think? How did it end up comparing to Fizban's? Any particular standout stuff? Any particular stinkers?

I know @mamba has it. Anyone else?

I’ve made a start. Looks like demigoddess Diancastra is the other commentator in this book.

Also, it looks like they aren’t presenting an alternate take on the First World myth as some have speculated. Instead, they are building on what was presented in Fizban’s by having Annam spread the seeds of the First World to create the Material Plane.

It also establishes the fomorians as descendants of Grolantor’s twin, Karontor, whom Annam cast from the ordning.

Death giants, meanwhile, are cloud giants who have abdicated their place in the ordning by serving the Raven Queen instead of Annam.

Isn't that an alternate telling of the First World myth? It doesn't exactly jive with the dragon's version.

No eldritch giants, huh? That was one of the ones I was hoping to see updated, since I've had one knocking around my campaign since the 3E days. I guess I'll roll my own with Forge of Foes.

Karontor also seems to be being presented as alternative version of Torog the king that crawls from the Dawn War Pantheon, being given the same title. I could see Torog being an alternate name some worshipers know him by.

That's right. I didn't get the Bundle. I did that with Dragonlance, but not this one. Just the Beyond version.
