Not seeing BSG, even with Starbuck trying to extend her career a little. Alias though? BW has "we need to fill the hole left from Alias" written all over it.

Too bad Michelle Ryan isn't nearly as hot as Jennifer Garner.

Actually I think Michelle Ryan is tons hotter than Jennifer Garner. Garner has that goofy front teeth thing, which sometimes looks endearing but other times looks like she's ready to eat some hay. Plus, I saw Elektra - a part of Garner's always going to worse for the wear for that to me.

There's also that annoying voice of hers. I cannot for the life of me take her seriously as an ass kicking spy whenever I hear that whiny sound that comes out of her mouth.

My opinion? Ryan is loads better than Garner, in both the looks and voice department.

To each their own. I find Michelle Ryan to have a giant jaw that makes her face look like a pear. Personally I would rate Garner a 9 and Ryan a 5.

Just a note... the writer of the pilot is no longer with the series. Of course, the writer isn't totally to blame - it takes a village to make a flop. But still, interesting to see how the dialogue and pacing change for upcoming eps in the hands of others.

The worst part? The little girl in the car. "I thought it was cool a girl could do that." OMG talk about lame. Who didn't cringe at that line?

I didn't, it was a Superman homage.

Wow, Michelle Ryan's jaw? Woof, that's what turns me off about Garner, that gigantic jaw and hugely-tall head. Ryan's jaw is much less noticeable, at least to me.

The actress looks too girlish for me. IT IS BIONIC WOMAN not Bionic Late Teens early 20's. dialogue was poor, the acting was wooden across the board, which is probably an indictment of the directing. No chemistry between the characters, no emotional impact on any of the big moments, and the show telegraphed all of the potential conflicts instead of letting them develop naturally. Also there is a little sister, which reminds me of Buffy, and Dawn, and you know that is going to be more awful than good.

My wife was also of the opinion that the Bionic Woman was terrible. I did not think she was that bad, but she is definitely green.
BTW I really do not like Katie/Starbuck as an actress, she just does not hit the right notes for my taste.

Now on the same night I saw BW, I also saw Reapers, and the Michael Vartan show Big Shots. Bionic Woman was the worst of all of those shows. If you watch Big Shots the cast has great chemistry right off the bat, you believe they are friends, and the episode shows you the relationship, and the show, it does not tell you about the show, as Bionic Woman did.

Bionic Woman will probably get better, but I think it is a pass for me.

She is 23, and an experienced actor. Lindsay Wagner was 26 when she did it. Is it really that big a difference?

Now on the same night I saw BW, I also saw Reapers, and the Michael Vartan show Big Shots...If you watch Big Shots the cast has great chemistry right off the bat, you believe they are friends, and the episode shows you the relationship

Big shots was below even Nashville (a show already canceled after one episode) as the worst of the new shows according to the overwhelming majority of the critics (it is far into the red, which usually means "cancel this right away"). It got a 33 (out of 100 possible), which was by far the worst rating of all the new shows by the critics.

By comparison, Bionic Woman had a 57, while Reaper had an 81 (highest rating so far of all the new shows).

That's not to say you have bad taste - just that your tastes on Big Shots seem to be contrary to most professional critics apparently, and on Reaper seems to be in line, and with Bionic Woman seems to be off.
