Bleeding Edge & DCC’s

I didn't see the stat blocks and maps on the GR website, as mentioned in the text of the adventure. I found the conversions for True20 and Black Company, but that's it. Did I overlook it?

I don't think it's there. :(

I have looked on the website, and looked through GR's forums but can find no answer to this question: Are the different modules linked by an overall plot or are they each stand-alone adventures?

Each one is a stand-alone adventure, but they are still linked together to form a whole campaign if you wish.

Update:

Bleeding Edge #4: A Dreadful Dawn has been released in PDF format:
http://www.greenronin.com/store/grr3404e/

Bleeding Edge #3: Dirge of the Damned has finished printing and is on the way to our warehouse. It should be in stores before the end of the month.

Hi,

The first was available through Amazon UK, but not the second (which is shipping to me from the US currently) but it would sure help if the rest were shipped over here through Amazon or similar, as was the first, for us English folks to enjoy.

We had originally planned to do some battle tile maps to go with Mansion of Shadows, but the price for those proved prohibitive so we didn't end up moving forward with that plan. For stats we've been concetrating on doing conversions like the True20 stats we put up this week. Would people find it useful to have the d20 stat appendices from the books available as PDFs as well?

They are generally stand-alone, but we provide some links for GMs that want to use them as part of a larger story. So Mansion of Shadows lets you know that if you want to run Beyond the Towers next you should kick of the adventure in a certain way, for example. There is no big uber story like Age of Worms or something like that though. We wanted GMs to be able to pick up any module in the series without feeling like they were coming into the middle of a story already in progress.

While we do sell to the UK book trade, the way they order can be hit or miss. On the other hand, distributors like Esdevium always stock our titles so they are available to UK game stores. If you need a place to mail order our books, you might try Leisure Games (www.leisuregames.com).

I ended up copying the stat block and pasting all the relevant information on separate pages for each NPC and printing them on cardstock, but I have Adobe Acrobat, so I could do that. I did the same with the maps, but it would've been helpful to have them available separately.

We played the first part of Mansion of Shadows on Saturday. We got about two thirds of the way through. It went pretty well; I'll post a review of it after we play the other half. I think they want to go on and play the 2nd adventure as well, since I used that hook for them that has them on the way to the Carrion Swamp.

I just picked up the Towers and started reading it. It's a bit more "traditional" than I expected. It does have some deep plot development behind it, but it's not that out of line with what I think I would see in Dungeon.

I am looking forward to the getting the next two soon.

That's the most traditional of them so far. Probably not the best one to start with.

As you'll see up in post #2, it's not the one I started with.

I was surprised the approach was so much different between Mansion of Shadows and Beyond the Towers.
