Blind Githzerai Monk in progress

I recently started working on a cgi representation of my current dnd character....he is an old Githzerai monk 5(using an alternate fighting style I created along the lines of the ones from Quintessential Monk from Mongoose...its the Zerthin style) Blind Master 4.

He lost his sight to an acid orb while defending his monastery from an assault..

anywayz...this is the basis I have of him...next I need to work on his Staff, his leggings, his cloak, his tunic, his sash, and his elaborate blindfold/headgear which consists of several metal rings and a handfull of leather straps...

lemme know what you think so far..

Not bad. Was this done in Poser?

If so, I think that you've done a fantastic job of the face morphs.

If you are using Poser, could I make two quick suggestions:

Check the focal length on the camera that you are using for this portrait. It looks like you are using the default focal length of 25mm. If so, this value is way to low. I recommend that you try a value somewhere between 75 and 100.

I would also recommend that you render the image against a black background. It will help to bring out the detail in the face more.

Its a combo of Poser and Lightwave :)

Thanls for the kind words...it took a long time to get the face to a githzerai-like state...the only thing i'm not happy about are the ears...which I'm going to work on some more..

I'll check out the camera and try out the suggestions...

The real task is going to be the blindfold/headgear..it consists of a small metal ring just on the brow that connects to leather patches that cover the eye and follow around to the back of the head and attach to another ring back there...the eye covers also attach to small metal rings above the check bones and then from each are two leather straps one on each that goes around the back and then two that criss cross just under the nose...
