Blindsight or similiar ability for arcane?

Are there any spells or items that enable the use of the blindsight ability, available to arcane casters? I know the spell blindsight exists in the spell compendium but that is for clerics and druids only. Specifically, I'm looking for a way to target spells while inside heavy fog where vision is totally obscured farther than 5 feet.

The cheesy answer is: 1 level of Mindbender (C.Arcane) + Mindsight feat (Lords of Madness). Both available as a package at 6th level.

Tremorsense is a Sorc/Wiz spell in Spell Compendium.

Ah yes, Tremorsense will work nicely. Thank you.

While the telepathy looks nice, I'm afraid it's a bit much for my liking

Dragonsight (also in SpC, pg 73) may be 5th level, but it gives you Blindsense out 5' per caster level instead of a static 30'. The object also doesn't have to be in contact with the ground. Plus it lasts an hour a level and gives Darkvision and allows you to see 4 times as well as a normal human.
