Blingdenstone question

I've read the adventure twice, and I still can't figure out what the maps on p. 44 are referring to. (The second to last page, right before the picture of the gnome.) They do not seem to be referenced by the text, unless I'm just failing my Wis check to see them in plain sight.

Someone help me out here?

yep, just generic tunnel and cavern maps. There is a brief mention of them on the 1st page, in the "Preparation" section, next to last paragraph, last sentence.

Talking about advanture questions, in the last chapter, Chapter 6: Trade Mission, it says:

"Cartels deal in trade units valued at 100 gp each. A cartel has sale units (the cartel sells these items) and demand units (the cartel buys these items)."

But than we got things like this:

One piece of fine art or jewelry, two potions of healing or 1st-level spell scrolls, five doses of poison, four obsidian daggers, five slaves

So what it the 100gp units?

One piece of fine art or Jewelry (value 100Gp), 2 potions of healing (100gp..50gp each in the equipment guide), 1st level spell scroll (100gp), 5 doses of poison (100gp), 4 obsidian Daggers (100gp), 5 slaves (100gp).

note that the Mind flayer sells slaves at 100gp each, noted at 5 times the going rate.

So, each 'unit' mentioned in the cartel is valued at about 100gp.

Bit of Trivia: They are "Dungeon Geomorphs"...I think those in particular appeared in the G1-G3, D1-D3, and Q1 module compilation known as "GDQ1-7 Queen of the Spiders". (I don't recall them in the D1-D3 directly)

There was lots of underdark exploration and you would slap those down in th event of a random encounter. The long ones are "tunel" and the square blocks are caverns, although you could line up a bunch of the square ones for a cavern complex.
