Blood and Guts 2 Questions

I know Vigilance hangs out here. I'm working my way through Blood and Guts 2 and the Master Edition of Blood and Fists. I understand you're a busy guy, Vigilance, but I might occassionally post questions here on the off chance you have the time to answer them.

My first question is this:

On page 7 of the Military Training Manual you say the Recon Advanced Class "Ghost" special ability increases the DC of any tracking check made to follow you.

It doesn't say what the increase of the DC is, though.

Is it intended to be the same as the bonus you get to Hide and Move Silently checks?

Thank you.

I am enjoying them, definitely. I'm running two d20 Modern campaigns. They are at 3rd and 4th level, respectively. It's a mishmash of d20 Modern, Blood & Fists: Master Edition, Blood & Guts 2, Delta Green, and Call of Cthulu.

I've also used material from Blood & Brains for a one-shot zombie hunt (sort of like the creature features or monster of the week episodes in the X-Files), and I'm going to use material from Blood & Blades for an upcoming story arc.

This is a really minor design question:

There are expanded rules for using the Tumble skill for HALO and LALO insertions, and yet, none of the transitional classes - Specialist, Leadership, Recon, Infantry - have Tumble as a class skill. Yet, they all have Balance as a class skill.

Why is that?

I did a WW2 game useing D20 Modern with info from various souces Vigilance and I was wondering if you had anything in the B&Gs series that covered that era ?

Yes I've just started doing WWII sourcebooks. It's an ongoing process, but the response to them has been tremendous.

The class skill lists for every class are incomplete, because they're only part of the story. If you look at the MOS feats, many of them provide Tumble: MOS Air Defense, MOS Armor, MOS Engineering, MOS Intelligence, MOS Medical, MOS NBC and MOS Pilot.

Where to draw the line between class and MOS is tricky though.

Ah yes, I see. That makes sense. Not all special ops necessarily have that training.
