Rowan swings his glaive around with a shout. He finally draws blood, although not a lot.

Boog swung around and fired at the bizarre beast, but missed.[sblock=OoC]Attack roll was a d20+3=7, a miss even before the -4 shooting into melee penalty is applied.

Next round, manifest Aversion if one attacks him, reload crossbow otherwise.[/sblock]

As the creature reappears, Eusebius swings his chain ... and roars in frustration as it comes nowhere near the beast!

"Maledicte!" he yells. "I might as well forgo the attack to do something guaranteed to be useful!" He begins a prayer which will offer Hyrag's blessing to them all. As he prays, he steps closer to Talbin, trying to cover his back.

Talbin swing at teh appearing beast, but is as ineffective as he has been throughout the encounter.

Rowan manages to score a hit for 5 damage. Everyone else misses the beast.

The Thought Eaters attack Talbin, disapearing as soon as they strike. 1d20+4=12, 1d20+4=15, 1d20+4=20

Two of them hit, reducing his intelligence to 6.

Boog reloaded his crossbow. Once again, he made ready to manifest Power or to discharge his weapon, depending on the actions of the wispy creatures.[sblock=OoC]Once again, Aversion if one of them attacks Boog, attack with crossbow if they attack someone else.[/sblock]
