Blown Fuse > d20 Overload

My D20 purchases have slowed way down, partially because I have less disposable income now, and partially because I find it hard to justify spending 30 or 40 bucks on a niche book like Races of Stone or Frostburn unless I'm using the content heavily in my current campaign (for instance, I'll be buying whatever they renamed Codex Anathema too, because aberrations play a major role in my campaign). As I look at the $500 worth of 3E D&D books I own, I feel like there's not much more I will ever need.

Lets see, I have bought, in the last 20 days, MM3, Complete Arcane, Complete Adventurer, Dungeons of Doom, Green Ronins Witches and Psionics books, City State of the Invincible Overlord, a bunch of Bastion and FFG's $5.00 sales items (10 total), Goodmans Geomorph's, Kenzers City Maps, Castles and Crusades PH, others I am forgetting. I plan on buying the Conan RPG, Paranoia XP, Crystal Skull, Grimtooth's Wurst, Wilderlands Boxed set, the new FR Waterdeep (if it is comparable to the old boxed set), C&C DMG and MM books, plus at least a couple of their adventures, and GR's Hamunaptra setting. I recently saw Steve Jacksons card board castles, dungeons, etc.... and plan on getting them if I find them somewhere at a good discount. I have also been considering Dwarven Forge stuff for a long while now, so eventually I'll probably buy some sets. My D20/RPG books numbered 177 before I bought all the stuff I have mentioned. Not including anything from the 1E/2E era of gaming.

I did not buy any of the races or climate books, I don't intend to either.

So no, I am not burnt out.

I wonder...the people who're burnt out, how many books have you been getting per month?

Since Summer 2000, I've bought ~96 d20 books, or an average of slightly under two/month. Some months I don't buy any, some I buy four. I've also been picking up a lot of non-d20 books, too.

I've noticed that my satisfaction with books depends on who they come from. Currently, the only companies that make stuff I like are WotC and Alderac. That's not 100%, but more often than not I like what they put out.
