Which would be a point for both spells having full effect - ie 20% miss chance then a 50% miss chance...
That's how my group handles it. One of the players' higher-level Wizards would always use the combo of Blur + Displacement + Mirror Image. Area effects still affected him normally, but anyone dumb enough to try and hit him had to roll a 20% miss chance, then a 50% miss chance, and then they rolled to see if they hit a mirror image or not. It's relatively easy to overcome, but for those who can't, it's pretty annoying.
