BO9S: Gaining martial adept at 11th level, how do prereqs work?

So let's say I'm a 10th level fighter, and for my 11th level take a level of swordsage. So I am considered a 6th level swordsage for purposes of maneuvers.

I get 5 manuevers at this level. How do the prereqs work?

There are two options I can see:

1) All maneuvers are gained at the exact same time. So I could not take any 3rd level maneuvers that had the "must know 1 maneuver from this discipline". The next level of swordsage I could.

2) You gain maneuvers one at a time. So my 1st maneuver would be a low level one, but for my next several, I now meet the prereqs for higher level maneuvers and can start taking them.

The second question deals with stances. Do I gain stances after manuevers (in which case I can meet the prereqs for some higher level stances) or do I gain them at the same time?

For your first level in a martial class, you must take a first-level stance. I believe that's on pg. 40 but I'm working from memory here. If someone else wants to confirm this, feel free to.

This. Just like feats, where you can easily gain two at the same level, and use one to qualify for the other.

However, your first Stance must be 1st level, as moritheil correctly recalls, though for Swordsages the page is 16.

And it doesn't have to necessarily be "low level" for the first maneuver. Many high levle maneuvers have no requirements at all and could theoretically be used to qualify for maneuvers of a lower level. For your Swordsage example, he could take Mind Over Body (DM level 3) to qualify for Emerald Razor (DM level 2). Or, IMHO the most common example of this, taking Claw at the Moon (TC 2) to get Sudden Leap (TC 1).
