Agricola (havn't played this myself, yet, but it is said to be very good)

Race for the Galaxy (got that last week and played it for the first time on the weekend; very cool game, though it takes a few moments to get used to the iconography... it's quite confusing at first It's similar to Puerto Rico and San Juan in many aspects)

Dominion is definitely worth a recommendation (or two ). Awesome game (won game of the year here in germany, which means quite a bit), and it's easy to learn and quick to play, too.

I also like Pandemic (a cooperative game, where you play together to defeat several viruses that are spreading throughout the world). It's also not hard to learn and doesn't take forever, and it is nicely different.

I picked up Pandemic from the used boardgame pile recently and found it to be a really fun co-op game.

Bang! is a huge hit with my family, but then they all like to be goofballs and act out the roles of each of the characteers in the game. Get the bullet if you can, we have just the original and are now ending up spending extra cash for the expansions.

Talisman 4E Revised with the expansions is my newest addition. Kind of nice to have a new version of the game, considering my homemade 2E set was on it's last legs. My only complaint is the stupid little cones... substitute with glass beads for sanity.

Last Night on Earth is one I have my eye on but haven't had time to read reviews of to commit myself to purchase it. Anyoen have thoughts on that one?

Great game. It's a game that people not that into board games want to play again when the first game is done. It's a bit fiddly, but it's not complicated, and the balance is incredible, the game almost always goes down to what happens on the final turn or two.

Bang is a lot of fun. Better with 5 or more players though I've found.

I just tried Pandemic last week and found it to be a lot of fun.
