BoED - Vow of Poverty

Eh, the monk is too easy a choice for Vow of Poverty. So, I'm thinking along the lines of a CG Fighter/Barbarian who embraces the Forsaker Class as much as the Vow of Poverty.
How about then something a little more esoteric. Like an Unfettered then? ;)

The forsaker is unbalanced as it is. IMO.
Id never allow the forskaer class to be taken with vow of poverty.
hell, id never allow forsaker period! :-D

I was playing a level 12 vow of poverty monk recently. As I said in the power analysis thread, it really is not overpowering compared to a smart player who can spend his gold freely. Still, it sure is fun to have a halo on your character's head!

Does Forsaker-Vow of Poverty make a whole lot of sense? As far as I remember, Forsaker is more about disdaining and destroying magic than giving all of your money to the poor.

Ao- that might be overpowered, but you could have had 2 feats and 760,000 gp instead of both vow of poverty bonuses and say, +5 inherent bonuses to 3 stats. However, it makes no sense for a character to search out nothing but inherent bonuses for 18 levels. If you limited him to say, half of his wealth in inherent bonuses for those 18 levels, it would probably be fine.

Can't do both? Destroy magical items and give all the money, gems, etc to the poor.

Well, I think the intention is for the vow of poverty character to give his magic items to the poor, or to sell them and give the money to the poor. When I say money, I mean assets worth gp :)

Here, Timmy, a Vorpal Great Sword just for you!!!

:D

Forsaker doesn't have to destroy all magic items, he can pick and choose. One one ability is goverened by the destruction of magic items. Using magic items is what really messes him up.
