seriously tho, one thing i really think is cool is the idea of deciding what is consent in a magical world. i haven't ead how they handled it, but the concept isn't one i have seen handled.

I would be extremely surprised, after the Fiend Folio, if his termination wasn't imminent. If he quit voluntarily, I strongly suspect he was dodging a bullet that was on its way.

My theory, and not being inside WotC and having the straight scoop, this is just a theory: AV was mad about the changes coming down the pipe that would make WotC and their licensees more family friendly. He fought them, to no avail.

To "stick it to the man", he put "stealth nipples" on the cover of the Fiend Folio, and commisioned artwork of a creature that looked like male genitalia. (See: century worm.)

Of course we wouldnt want a game played by as many teenagers as adults if not more to be a least a little family friendly.

I have not looked that closely at FF so I did not notice either item you mentioned. But it does not sound like something the creater of BOEF would have a problem doing.

IIRC, Anthony only started giving specific details about what happened after people at WotC spoke out on the topic first, thereby voiding his NDA.

He gave his OPINION about the product without bothering to include the small fact that as a chosen playtester he is likely to be biased.

If Ebert gave you a thumbs up for a movie and then later you found out he was an advisor on the set would you not feel that Ebert had been dishonest in not mentioning that fact?

My apology for not again mentioning I playtested it. I figured it was commonly known, and a link to the site IS in my sig. It didnt occur to me that some people might still be in the dark. Dont assume I was trying to hide the fact I playtested it. I'm very proud of that fact. I also ran a contest in which someone can win a free copy, that contest is being judged now.

Additionally, if you scroll up, nowhere do I give my opinion on the product itself. Though that opinion IS well known. I do discuss the book, and I do discuss anthony. If only replied to questions with facts and commnts, no opinions what so ever.

Psion, The information i've presented Anthony has openly told us on the valar forums. I dont know anything about the fiend folio or century worm thing, or at least if Anthony had anything to do with that.

Anything else I should/can address for you guys?
