Sorry but I would be at GENCON.

Cams are so so, I would check it out but not for any lenght of time.

Now if we could get a kobold, strap a cam on its back and have it run around, damn ready for the kobold cam!

Well, assuming you couldnt go to gencon, would you check a webcam at any booth?

This is not just about Valar, but maybe the Ennies booth too, or other companies that have booths.

I intentionally left out any company or specific booth because it was a general question.

That in mind, would you check out web cams that showed you what was going on at Gencon if you couldnt be there?

Would you check out the cam if there was an event that was going to be shown in front of the cam specifically cause its there for those who cant be at gencon? Be it a Game, a Contest, or a Display of some products.

I do think I would, I know I would like to see the ENnies and some siminars but don't really ss it as a big thing.

No interest in a webcam. Now if they webcast some of the seminars with sound and you could actually see/hear/understand what's going on then ya, I would probably check it out.

I would... especially since I can't afford travelling costs for many years and I have never been to a GenCon Not to mention the boothbabes....

I sympathise with Rashak Mani, because I'm evn further away from the action and am not likely to get to a gen con for many years at least.
So yeah, I would check out whatever I could...
In fact, I'm going to start a thread soon... See what I can learn about Gen Cobn before it's over.

actually streamed cams work fine on dialup so long as you dont use a high resolution.
Then there is always the still image option and 30 second update option.
