Boredom and random avatars

Anyone know how to set up a random avatar? Do the mods frown on it? I tried linking my avatar to a random cgi-script on my personal server, and then dumped several avatars in a directory. Didn't work.

I'm not sure if it's possible, but I'm pretty sure there's a way to do it.

And I'm bored...

I saw that. Kind of like a virtual stalker. Pretty weird. I think he had to hack the vBulletin script to pull that one off. Topher actually had that going for himself for a while, too.
