Is there any way to get to your house from 90 (the mass pike)? MapQuest's directions take me through portions of Boston that I try to avoid like the plague. :/

Oh, and could I shift in the afternoon to "Game 1 (living room): Qualidar's "Pulp Action Theatre: The Jewel of Peshwar" please and thanks? Nothing personal to Guedo79, just wanna try something pulpy. :)

Umbran, as long as you don't mind not doing the prep work during the actual game I think we're fine; I believe that there's still a slot free in Qualidar's game as well if you'd rather play that instead!

No, your game sounds great! It's just that I'd hate to have someone who signed up for games when they were supposed to get left out, is all. If everyone else is covered, then play is what I'd rather do. :)

Are you coming eastbound or westbound on the Pike?

Eastbound (going towards Boston): Get off at exit 17 (Newton). The exit dumps you into a traffic circle; bear right, then take the first right onto Centre Street (towards Newton Ctr.)

Follow Centre St until it intersects with Commonwealth Ave at a light; you'll know it because there's a ski/tennis store across the street. Turn left onto Comm Ave.

At the next light, turn right onto Grant Ave. Follow this until it ends.

Turn right onto Beacon St. Our house is a block and a half up on the right, across from the post office and just past the West Coast Video. If you pass a MotoFoto, you went a block too far. Not that you can see it because of the snow, but the entrance to the driveway is by the fire hydrant.

--- o ---

From westbound (going away from Boston) get off the Pike at exit 17 (Newton/Watertown). Bear left towards Newton. You'll enter the traffic circle from hell. Stay in the 2nd from the left-hand lane; you'll pass the Sheraton on your left, then you'll follow the road around to the left. Once you curve left around the Sheraton, you'll take the next righthand turn onto Centre St. (There's a little green "Newton Ctr" sign too, I think).

Follow Centre St until it intersects with Commonwealth Ave at a light; you'll know it because there's a ski/tennis store across the street. Turn left onto Comm Ave.

At the next light, turn right onto Grant Ave. Follow this until it ends.

So am I in a night game?

You're confirmed in Guedo79's Ravenloft game. As of right now, I don't think anyone is waiting for a game or on standby. Every afternoon slot is filled, and 3 morning slots are open.

Thanks for the directions and switching my slot. Oh, and hosting and organizing the whole thing. You rock.

Is it alright if I bring a couple 12 packs? Got diet coke w/lime and diet vanilla coke (what can I say, I prefer the taste of diet), or I can pick up pretty much anything else. Live right next to a stop and shop.

Sounds great, Asmor. Can you grab a 12-pack of Fresca and/or Mountain Dew? If not, the Diet sounds just fine. We can always send slackers up the street to the drug store on emergency soda runs if we have to. :D

House is 90% cleaned. Essentials (milk, paper plates, coffee cups, knives & forks, plastic cups, etc.) purchased. Card tables and extra chairs are brought up from the basement. Bigass garbage can and recycling bin are set up. Characters for my "oh my lord I have a day to prep for a game" Eversink game are 70% done. I think we're in decent shape.

Be careful on my stairs, folks -- there's still some ice!

And if you can, someone bring an extra bagel toaster or toaster oven. I'll thank you, the line of people waiting to toast their breakfast will thank you.

Excellent! I'm glad that I got in. I grabbed a couple of bags of plain bagles and some cream cheese for breakfast tomorrow. I also have a bag of Doritos and a 12 pack of pepsi. How are we doing on drinks? People always seem to drink more when playing and plus if we have pizza everyone will have a couple.

Sure I'll bring one down with me. See you tomorrow! (Apparently I have net after all, go figure.)
