I wonder how the morning activities are going. Too bad for me that I could only sign up for an afternoon game. I'll probably be hitting the road around 1 to get there. :)

Wow, awesome time. Thank you so so so so much Piratecat for your hospitality and geneorisity. Also huge thanks to Betsy and Qualidar (sorry, forgot your real name) for DMing, both did an awesome job and I think everyone involved had a great time! I'm sorry I didn't stay long enough to say good bye to everyone. Can't wait to do this again!

Thank you Piratecat for hosting such a great game day! :D
Your house was very easy to find and pretty darn big. Perfect for such a large group of gamers. I can't believe how many games you have stacked up all over the place.

A big thank you to Wulf for running Grim Tales. Very impressive prep work! The maps were amazing.

So long, and thanks for all the toasters

Shurai, I have formed a deep emotional attachment to your toaster and do not wish to give it back. Nevertheless, I probably should. What's the best way to get it to you?

And wow, what a great day. We had 36 people by my count, and both games I was in were a blast to run - great roleplaying and players. I know this was the first gameday for some folks; I sure hope you enjoyed it as much as I did. Thank you for coming, everyone! If you took photos, please post them as soon as you have a chance.

Although I missed not seeing Sheri and Chris, it was fun returning to Eversink in my afternoon game. :D

Well, thanks to you and Kid Cthullu for having us!

Both of our games were tremendous fun.

It was a shame that Deadlands had to be cancelled (but awesome to play D&D with you). For the next Games Day, do you want to line up "stand by GMs", who can be "on deck" in case a GM cancels?

I know I have quite a few games I've written for conventions that I could easily bring on short notice. As long as players are open-mided about what they end up playing. Mind you, I love the rare experience of being a Player, but I thought I would offer, because I am awesome*.

*Also brilliant.

I should be available to GM a western RPG at the next one (not sure which rules system I'll be using yet). I've attended the previous three Boston ENWorld game days but couldn't swing this one due to a family obligation.

Thanks to Piratecat and Kid Cthulhu for hosting another Brigadoon-esque gaming paradise! And thanks to everybody who played in my Northern Crown game! Alikander and I really enjoyed sharing our campaign with you.

Random moments from the game:

Nemesis Reed, secret agent of Sophia, destroying his magic pistol on the first shot. And ending the game by coolly dispatching the enemy agent (who was at that point frying inside his breastplate thanks to the miracle of... SCIENCE!)

The Shawnee scout clobbering half a dozen deranged, zombified low-lifes and getting bent out of shape because no one was watching.

The Kelt rake getting hurt again... and again... and again... while the Cherokee cleric makes polite offers to cure her.

The natural philosopher and the cleric standing shoulder to shoulder in an undead turning grudge match. Reason vs. faith; which one can send more wraiths packing?

The automaton soldier standing patiently waiting for orders while his paralyzed master and most of the party are having the life force sucked out of them.

The Shawnee scout smashing the cursed masks in the nick of time.

Cleric (making Spot check): I saw you take that amulet from the mummified corpse.
Rake (making incredible Bluff roll):Gee, I only did it because I thought you might want it. I promise I'll put it back.

You want a random moment from a game? Try this: An elephant riding a rocket-propelled robot water tower.
