Boston ENworld Game Day–Mission Accomplished

I finished adding a 7th pregen for Retail Zombies yesterday afternoon.

So now we've got the Barista, the Usher, the Mallrat, the Kiosk Goth Saleswoman, the Hooters Waitress, the Lifer Manager, and the Mall Security Guard as possible characters.

In other words, the zombies are bumping into things.

Varianor : I know I mentioned a character idea earlier in the thread. I'm not really picky but some kind of faen would be cool - something with some some stealth and magic ability perhaps. I don't have a lot of experience with the system (although I do have AE) so surprise me!

Nasrat: I don't have any experience or knowledge with the Red Star setting but if there is an opening for a big Russian dude (a la Ivan Drago from Rocky IV) with a BFG (big friggin' gun), pencil me in for that.

Qualidar: I'll probably be there for breakfast. I can bring something too. If there's anything you think you might need, let me know (maybe OJ for us *gasp* non-coffee drinkers).

in order to bump the thread, and because I finally got the day off officially, I'd like to sign up for qualidar's bughunt, and announce I'll be running one of my own. my AM game will be Bughunt with Soundtrack by Merle Travis, and will be either Fudge or HERO, depending on which I find easier to stat the characters with. Space opera with a twist.

Hr. I notice that, at the moment, there are two whole games in the morning with nobody signed up at all.

Presumably, it is either because people who intend to go haven't checked in and signed up, or because there simply not enough people attending in the morning to support the games.

Is there some expectation of a signup-rush coming? While i'd love to run a game in the morning, I don't want to spend all the time prepping up for a game that isn't going to happen due to lack of bodies.

That would be me (for one). My wife remembered a dentist appointment I have to take our kids to, so the morning is definitely out for me. I had been hoping to sign up for a game. Ah well. Hopefully, I won't be late for the start of mine! It's 2.5 hours commute if the traffic isn't bad.

Edit: Glassjaw, I'm working on the PC. I have a neat idea. Anyone else want to specify their character in advance? (7th level.)

Nope, I'll take whatever. I don't have AE, only AU so whatever I get would probably be best if it didn't need AE, especially since, like Glassjaw, I'm not very familiar with the setting. I bought the book back when it came out hoping to play it but nobody else in my group had any interest in it.

Hi Varianor!

If possible, I'd like to play a Champion.

If it works for this game, I'd like to be a Champion devoted to one of the other Player Characters.

OR

For added drama, a Champion devoted to "opposing" one of the other Player Characters. (obviously, I'd need a reason to not attack this person on sight)

Race: Leorn? (sp?) or maybe a Giant (can't remember if they have a proper race name)

Bottom line: while that's my preference, I'll take anything. Thanks for asking.

Drat! My fiancee and I are moving to Boston this summer, but it looks like this'll be about a month too early. Oh well, we can catch it next time around. How regularly do you have these shindigs? I can try to bring some NC Game Day classics up to Boston with me.

scholar from our group hasn't signed up for a morning game yet, but he doesn't have regular internet access. I gave him a printout of the morning games yesterday and he'll suppossedly be signing up soon.

And I've wanted to play kahuna's bughunt game since I heard about it at the Attleboro gameday, but I'm already running zombies in the morning. So, sign up for it people. It's a great little concept.
