[BOTR] Hollowfaust allowability

First Post
I really like the idea behind Hollowfaust from S&S's Scarred Lands, but instead of the SL gods/titans thing, I'm using the BOTR gods and pantheon. My question is this: what would be some good ways to permit the existence of Hollowfaust, even though (by the book) Mormekar's church wouldn't truly permit it to exist for long. I've toyed with the idea of using the controlled/free-willed undead disagreement from SL, such as a sect of Mormekar worshipers that follow necromancy, but for the "greater good", fighting against the evil necromancers. Any other thoughts?

I think you're already on the right track. Mormekar could lighten up a bit and allow non-sentient undead, as it really isn't hurting anything. After all, the soul goes to the right place, it's simply a matter of taking the non-vital parts after death and making them do something worthwhile for the good of all involved. What could be more helpful than that? It would help to keep Hollowfaust fairly dependent upon the undead for protection, infrastructure, etc. As a proud Scarred Lands DM and player as well as a huge fan of BotR, I'd say it is very do-able.
