I already pre-ordered 2 cases at the old discounted price @ gameoutfitter.com. I am a shill.
The increase will not stop me from buying my usual amount. I went overboard with Harbinger and learned my lesson, as did WotC with the distribution. I picked up 2 cases of Dragoneye and am only missing 3 rares. In addition, I have all the extras of the mooks that I want. I also have little interest in the actual wargame as I use them for my weekly D&D session.
It seems that for expansions of 60 figures, 2 cases is the way to go for me. Sure, it costs just over $200 but I'd probably just spend that money anyway by stopping in to the FLGS over the months. And without the internet discount that would net me less figures.
Now, the Giants of Legend expansion will have more figures and therefore I will be spending more money to get the extra figures but at least I will know far in advance and can save up a little extra. I plan on saving the money that I would normally spend on new RPG book releases on the minis. I have found that if you wait a bit, ebay prices really save some cash in the long run. WotC have run out of books I
absolutely need so I can wait a bit to pick up things like Complete Warrior.
They still get me in the end but at least it is on my terms.
